Health, Vaccinations & Flea Treatment

Health – All dogs must be in good health at check in. If your dog is not feeling well, (i.e. vomiting, diarrhea) please do not bring them. If the dog vomits or has diarrhea while they are at Ball and Bone they will immediately be placed in the specialized care program a $20/day surcharge will automatically be applied..


Vaccinations – All dogs must be current on vaccinations and in good health. If your dog appears to exhibit symptoms of illness at the time of check-in, we will be unable to accept the dog for boarding/doggy day care. We do require proof of vaccinations (DHLPP and Bordetella) and a Rabies certificate to keep on file. You must bring this paperwork the day of boarding.


Flea Treatment – All dogs must also be current on flea treatment (Frontline, Advantage, etc.). Pets that enter the facility with fleas or ticks will be bathed and given flea treatment at the owner's expense.If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at siobhan@ballandbone.com or call 310-734-8879.

 
 
Drop Off/Pick Up

Hike - Pick up is between the hours of 7:30am & 8:30am. Drop off is immediately following the hike


Doggy Day Care-Pick up is between the hours of 7:30am & 8:30am doggy day care drop off is between the hours of 5pm-6pm. A key for your home must be provided or an accessible and safe drop off point i.e. secure back yard.


Hours Saturday - Pick up/Drop off only by prior arrangement.


Hours Sunday - Closed - Pick up/Drop off not available


Rescheduling -There is a $20 fee for not picking up or being able to receive your dog at the prearranged time.


Late Fees - $10 for every 15 minutes after 7pm. We do not check dogs out after 8pm Monday-Saturday. After 8pm there will be an automatic charge for an overnight stay.



Reservations & Cancellations

Same Day Service A service fee of $5 is applied when services are not scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

Dog Hike & Doggy Day Care Service Cancellation 24-hour cancellation notice is required for all daily services. If 24-hour notice is not received, regular charges apply.

Dog Boarding & Pet Visit Cancellation 48-hour cancellation notice is required on all boarding/pet visit services. If 48-hour notice is not received, you will be billed for the first day of scheduled services.

 


What to Bring

Please bring enough food for your dogs stay and medication if needed. Ball and Bone provides beds, bowls and toys. You may bring your own dogs’ bed, bowl, blanket and/or toys with the clear understanding that Ball and Bone can not guarantee the condition these items will be returned in.

 


Food

It is preferred to bring your dogs own food so their diet and routine can be maintained. Please make sure it is in a sealed container and labeled with your dogs name and regular feeding schedule. If you do not provide food Ball and Bone will feed your dog a premium natural brand i.e. Taste of the Wild, Solid Gold, etc. Two meals a day @ $5/day.
