What can I feed my dog?

I am asked this question all the time by my clients who are interested in improving their dog’s diet. The first thing I tell them is they can add some fresh raw meat to their pets diet. They are usually shocked. I can give my dog raw meat?

Use the same meat handling precautions that you do when preparing meat for your family, clean work surfaces, don'tleave it out on the counter, always wash your hands.

Yes you can feed your dog raw meat – beef, lamb, chicken and turkey. Use the same precautions that you would with handling the meat if it was for yourself or family. Wash your hands after handling raw meat and wash your pets food bowl after each meal.
